Music

I make music all the time—check it out!

 B Side

My first EP features pieces I originally composed in Finale, reproduced in Pro Tools as works of Digital Fusion. These are mostly character studies/themes that run the gamut between slow burns and daunting journeys, before concluding in a dark, piano-driven waltz and a grungy, grinding halt.

Morse Code

I wrote a serenade for the woman who would become my wife when we were both still attending college in Indiana. For our first anniversary, I recorded and produced this from home in one day.

Shards Of This Light

A commission for my good friend Kyle Newbridge’s horror comic, Of This Light. The EP includes three chapter themes (tracks 1, 3, and 5), two character themes (2 and 4), and the titular song.

SOCS: Vol. 1

The first album of its kind, SOCS was a challenge to completely produce a song—from composition to mastery—as fast as I possibly could once a week. It was completed in 28 hours and 7 minutes.

These works of Digital Fusion are mostly themes for settings (1 and 2) and characters (4, 5, and 9), with a spattering of relaxed, atmospheric pieces (3, 6, 7, and 8), and two more driven songs to wrap it up.

SOCS: Vol. 2

The second album of its kind, this experiment in Digital Fusion took 19 hours and 46 minutes, and demonstrates the lines between dangerous Boss Battle music, tense Encounter style pieces, and chill beats (even a little lofi chillhop in the second track, “Secondary”), before climaxing in a driven, anticipatory finale.

Drowning in the Sound

This is a cover of the song originally by Amanda Palmer. It’s a slow, poignant, grief-inducing reflection of the state of America, and the state of the world.

Wander

This one was done as part of the Charity EP Jam to help support Able Gamers.

Stories for Monsters (Official Podcast Soundtrack)

The Season One OST of Stories for Monsters.

SOCS: Vol. 3

The third album of its kind, this is where I stopped timing myself. I just wanted to make good stuff in the space of a day, and I was hyper-aware that my music was actually being used to back podcasts like Anachronistic—so I really let myself daydream with these ones. Overall, I think the quality and consistency of the music really shone here.
