Founded in 2017 by Fable McDaniel, Rhetorical Answers works through music and narrative to illustrate and communicate real themes, social and human problems, in comprehensively honest ways. We immerse people in others’ worlds and lives.
About Fable
Fable McDaniel (ze/zir) is known for zir music as Rhetorical Answers, as well as the podcasts Stories for Monsters (which ze writes, produces, directs, and stars in) and Anachronistic (which ze directs).
Fable has been weaving tales with TTRPGs since 2013, when ze was introduced to Pathfinder as a freshman in college. Wanting to give zir players more power in the narrative and make combat more fast and fun, Fable worked with zir co-GM, Dariane Davis, to build a new, genre-agnostic, rules-light system of their own. Together they created FableDoom, which was successfully funded on Kickstarter in 2022 and published the following year.
Basically, ze likes telling stories that shed light on big themes in an honest, empathetic way that's still fun.
